OUR SERVICES
Tracking
To provide reliable, punctual service, we have equipped all of our trucks with GPS trackers so we know where our fleet is at all times. We can keep you updated via email or telephone about the location of your freight whenever you like. Also, we have partnered with FourKites and Descartes Macropoint, for customers who wish to track their freight through those services.
Flatbed Service
Some freight needs a flatbed trailer, and we have several stepdecks available, and do tarping when required. We also have curtain side/rolling tarp trailers for those loads that are tricky to tarp.
Regional Services
Although heavy haul dry van lanes between Ontario and Michigan is our main focus, we offer service to Midwestern and North-Eastern states, too. Our Tandem Vans and flatbeds are available to service these parts of the United States for freight up to 44,000 lbs.
Heat
Often freight must be protected from the cold; chemicals, food, paint, for example. Our dry vans are insulated and equipped with a 50,000 BTU Carrier Solara diesel heater to do just that.
Dangerous Goods
All our drivers are certified to haul hazardous materials/dangerous goods and are fully trained in safety and emergency measures. We haul all categories except classes 1 – explosives, 6.2 – infectious substances and 7 – radioactive materials.
Local Hourly Cartage
Here at Street Cartage, we haven’t forgotten our roots. Our van and flatbed service is available by the hour to the Chemical Valley, Sarnia, Courtright, and surrounding areas.
